Michelle is a Board-Certified Music Therapist with a master’s degree in Music Therapy from Colorado State University, having received her bachelor’s degree in music therapy from Loyola University in New Orleans in 1995.
Michelle is the Program Director of Sensorimotor Therapies at Cortica in San Diego. She has worked with children and adults with various neurological impairments and developmental delays, but her focus is with individuals with autism and sensory processing difficulties.
Michelle is the mother of four and enjoys spending time with her family in San Diego. She has published articles on music therapy and autism in Frontiers in Integrative Neuroscience and Music Therapy Perspectives
